| Use a dremel. Harbor Freight sells an attachment kit for ~$16 that includes a piece that is rough and is needle-like thin. This thing gets inside the connectors and removes corrosion completely. An LED light on your forehead helps a ton. After cleaning, use a dental pick set to bend the connections for a tight fit. Spray w/ electrical contact cleaner. Use a silicone sealer to seal out moisture from the cracked connector boots; the black permatex tube is good. This is a great preventative maintenance step. Fill the connector with dielectric grease and reconnect.
